Boxing legend Mike Tyson and NBA star Michael Jordan have a lot of similarities. The two dominated their respective sports for a long time and achieved a lot of fame and accolades. Moreover, it seems they were born in the same hospital as well.
Interestingly enough, Jordan and Tyson dated the same woman, Robin Givens. While MJ did not have a relationship to remember, Mike Tyson married Givens in 1988. However, their relationship was short-lived.

Tyson and Givens filed for a divorce that sent headlines all around the world. After a brief period, the two celebrities split following Givens filing for ‘spousal abuse’. Moreover, reports suggested that Givens cheated on Tyson with Hollywood star Brad Pitt and apparently, Tyson also punched him.
So where does Michael Jordan come into all of this? When the news about Tyson and Givens hit the news worldwide, MJ got a reality check. He could have well been in Tyson’s shoes considering his past with Givens.
During an interview with GQ, it was revealed “Now, in the limo, Michael reads the latest about Mike Tyson and Robin Givens in USA Today, -He could have been in Mike Tyson’s shoes right now. On her way from Eddie Murphy to Mike Tyson, Ms. Givens had stopped off at Michael’s address for a spell. “It got tired in five, six days. I could see it.” He could see she wasn’t dating men—she was dating growth industries.“
Interestingly enough, Givens was one of the reasons why the two sporting legends almost came to blows in a bar.

Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan and Mike Tyson might belong to two completely different sports. However, their connection with a Hollywood celebrity almost caused disaster for the two.

Tyson almost beat up the 6 time NBA champion over his past with Tyson’s ex-wife, Robin Givens. While the two sporting legends sat at a bar, Tyson said, “Mike stares across the table at Michael Jordan. He says, ‘Hey man, you think I’m stupid? I know you f***** with my b****’.”
This fiery confrontation then led from one thing to another. Thankfully, it did not end up in violence thanks to the mediators in the bar present in the form of Rory Holloway.
