The 44th President of the United States Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama finally got their official White House portraits installed in the White House. In fact, the esteemed couple unveiled them on Wednesday. Obama was painted by Robert McCurdy and Michelle by Sharon Sprung.
The former first lady published her memoir ‘Becoming’ in 2018. The book talks about her roots and how she found her voice. It also contains details about her role as a mother and her time in the White House.

Last year, Michelle and Zaya Wade, daughter of NBA legend Dwyane Wade, had a virtual chat where they discussed the best seller among other things. During the chat, Zaya admitted that Michelle is one of her idols and that she is nervous and excited at the same time to speak to her. Wade was star-struck meeting the former first lady of the country.

Zaya also confessed that it was a long-standing dream of hers to meet Michelle Obama. The Miami Heat legend’s daughter asked Michelle what advice she has for young people pursuing their dreams. In response, the former first lady said that she believes Zaya is delivering an important message herself.
NBA legend Dwyane Wade is a supportive father
Michelle Obama said, “You know, I mean, you know, I am just so proud of you for you know being just an amazing role model and embracing your truth. Right? You’re already doing this, so maybe this is for some other young people that are listening.”
Zaya Wade originally named Zion Malachi Airamis Wade was born to Dwyane Wade and Siohvaughn Funches. Zaya reportedly came out as a transgender when she was 12. However, D-Wade once revealed that his daughter has known it since she was just three years old. The 3-time NBA champion officially petitioned to change her name to Zaya Wade recently.

Wade and Gabrielle Union have always been very supportive of their daughter’s decision. However, the process was not easy, and it required some learning. Once, when Union shared a family photo taken on thanksgiving, it received some negative comments for Zaya’s looks. And Dwyane Wade took to Twitter to show his support for his daughter.
The ‘Flash’ played 16 successful years in the NBA. The Miami Heat selected D-Wade as the 5th pick of the 2003 NBA draft. He became one of the best young players in the league. And helped the Heat win the 2006 NBA finals against the Dallas Mavericks.
