One of the worst decisions taken by Jordan was the drafting of Kwame Brown. Brown spent 4 seasons with the Wizards and averaged a dismal 7.7 points, 1.0 assists, and 5.5 rebounds. Safe to say, Brown, failed to live up to the number 1 pick expectations.
Jordan said, “What did I see in Kwame Brown when I drafted him? With everyone within that draft, I wanted Kwame Brown because of his athleticism, his size, his speed. He was still a young talent, 18-year-old, 19-year-old kid.”

The 2001 NBA draft had the likes of Pau Gasol, Eddy Curry, and Jason Richardson. However, the Wizards went for Brown.
Despite all the hate he gets for the decision, reports suggest Jordan was not actually behind the draft. According to reports, the front office saw a great opportunity as Brown would be the first high school player to be drafted into the NBA.

Brown ended his career in the Philadelphia 76ers with a career average of 6.6 points, 0.9 assists, and 5.5 rebounds in 13 seasons in the NBA.
