The Chicago Bulls got off to a dream start to the season. However, things are not going in the right direction lately as ten of the Bulls’ players have been put in the health and safety protocols of the league. Recently, two of their games also got postponed because of this. A former teammate of Michael Jordan took this chance to jokingly offer his services to his former team.
The era of the Chicago Bulls where Michael Jordan stood at the top was historic. They won 6 championships in eight years and solidified themselves as a dynasty. But not every player got recognition. And one of the more under the shadow players was Will Perdue. He was on the three peat roster of the Bulls and even won a championship with the San Antonio Spurs.
Now that the Bulls are in trouble, Perdue is ready to suit up again and get back on the floor for them.

A teammate of Michael Jordan is ready to suit up
The Bulls are extremely shorthanded right now. Their impact players are all in the health and safety protocols and they can’t get out for another 10 days or unless deemed safe. Hence, this is not good news for Chicago. Due to this, the league also pushed ahead their next two games.
One of the major drawbacks is they have lost their scoring duo; both Zach Lavine and DeMar DeRozan are not available for the Bulls for the time being. In such a time of crisis, a former Bull is ready to come out of retirement. 56-year-old Will Perdue has offered to play for the Bulls. He averaged 4.7 points during his career as a center.
Hey @chicagobulls fans! It’s time for me to suit up. With 9 guys in health and safety protocol, desperate times call for desperate measures. @officialkendallgill you with me? @NBCSBulls @NBCSChicago @KCJHoop @chicagobulls @JCowleyHoops @Bulls_Peck #BullsNation pic.twitter.com/tAnbHn9tv2

Perdue last played in a NBA game back in the 2000-2001 season and since then, Perdue has been enjoying retirement. However, with his franchise in such trouble, Will is willing to come back. But he is making sure that he is safe by carrying an emergency box.
He jokingly shows how there is tape and coffee to keep his body from falling apart. Moreover, he is taking LeBron James’ advice and bringing wine as it allegedly helps. But the main topic remains to be the trouble that the Bulls go through. One major step up they will need is for Lonzo Ball and Vucevic to shine through in these times of trouble. They will also hope their players return safely and soon so they can pick up from where they started.
