The stories of Michael Jordan‘s heroics are never-ending. Several generations, right from the 80s to the current time, have grown up admiring the tales of His Airness. Even now, decades after his retirement, some crazy stories about Jordan and his otherworldly brilliance keep on resurfacing. Recently, one of Jordan’s teammates from the Chicago Bulls brought up yet another story of the great man that NBA legends like Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, and others probably won’t like.

Although he only praised his teammate and the man that helped him win 3 titles, the digging up of old memories may be sour for others. During the Bulls’ run in the 90s, MJ and Co. stopped multiple NBA legends from getting their hands on the coveted Larry O’Brien trophy. The primary credit for that goes to Michael Jordan, according to former teammate Scott Williams.

Jordan dominated the 90s with the Bulls. He ended up achieving the unthinkable and somehow made it all look easy. His Airness won 6 NBA titles, 6 Finals MVPs, 5 league MVPs, and made 14 All-Star appearances. Moreover, what he did to make those achievements come to life is even more remarkable. An insight into Jordan’s greatness was offered in The Last Dance documentary, which was released in 2020. The documentary showed just how ruthless he was during his time and it was a point of learning for the younger fans who weren’t there during the Bulls era of basketball.

Recently, Williams talked about Jordan going against other greats at the time. Scott Williams, a 3x NBA Champion with the Bulls during 1990-94, released a book titled Through The Fire. He talked about the fear that Jordan instilled even in the hearts of some great players during an interview with HoopsHype. Williams said, “It?s really an intangible. It?s hard to put into words.” The 55-year-old talked about witnessing Jordan “systematically dismantle” each and every opponent in his way. Additionally, Williams brought in the likes of Magic and Barkley into the equation, digging up bad memories for the stars.

Williams also opened up about how MJ was instrumental in him joining the Bulls in 1990. He revealed that Jordan called GM Jerry Krause and asked him to give Williams an opportunity. And the rest is history. All of these accumulated to Jordan reaching the highest of highs an athlete can imagine. As we know today, he remains one of the wealthiest, most popular, and most impactful athletes to ever live across the sporting world.
