One of the most recognizable faces in the world is Michael Jordan. He is a six-time NBA champion and is regarded by many to be the greatest basketball player ever. Being Jordan’s child has huge shoes to fill and his daughter Jasmine addresses all that in a recent interview.
Talking to a reputed news website for all things footwear, she talked about what it is to be the daughter of Jordan. During the interview, she addresses the privilege that comes with it and also talks about her stake in the company.

Jasmine on what it feels to be the daughter of Michael Jordan
Jasmine is Michael’s eldest daughter, born to ex-wife Juanita Vanoy. Although she is the daughter of one of the biggest athletes ever, she decided to work her way up the ladder.
Apart from working with her father on the Charlotte Hornets team, Jasmine is also a field representative for the Jordan brand. Talking to footwearnews, she addresses what it feels like to be Jordan’s daughter. She also mentions what she feels about her position in the brand.
Jasmine said, “It’s powerful, it’s special. To have the name and work for the brand, doesn’t feel real. People say all the time, ‘That’s your brand.’ I say, ‘No, it’s not,’ [but] yes, it is. I’m aware of it, but I don’t think about it as much as people around me do.“
Not only does Jasmine play an important role in the company, but she also handles endorsements for WNBA players. Her role involves providing equality under the care of the brand.

The Jordan brand and WNBA players
Not only has Michael Jordan left a mark on the basketball court, but he is also ensuring he does off the court as well. His popular sporting and sneaker company “Jordan” is popular among celebrities and athletes around the world and now his brand is sponsoring WNBA players.
Last year, a collaboration was announced between the brand and 11 WNBA players. These included popular names like Maya Moore, Kia Nurse, Asia Durr, Satou Sabally, Chelsea Dungee among others.
