Luka Doncic has finally reached the second round of the NBA playoffs. After 2 first-round exits against the Los Angeles Clippers, Luka and the Mavs beat the Utah Jazz this year and have advanced to the second round of the playoffs. And Luka also created history as he became the second-fastest player to reach 500 points in the playoffs with only 16 games. The fastest player to reach 500 points is, of course, His Airness, Michael Jordan.

Luka has been outstanding in the playoffs and he has already five 40-point games in the playoffs. He averages over 33 points a game for his career. But he had no help in the previous rounds and had to do everything by himself. But now he has a proper squad and they are capable of winning games. They even won without him in games 2 and 3. But make no mistake, Doncic elevates the Mavs from a playoff team to contenders. And Jordan’s camp approves of what Doncic has been doing in the playoffs.

Michael Jordan and the Jordan camp rave about Luka Doncic

After game 6 of the series, Doncic became the second-fastest player to score 500 points in the playoffs. And this was so impressive that Michael Jordan’s ‘Jordan’ company tweeted about his feat. They said,” And so the legend of Luka continues?”. Jordan is represented by Luka and he is one of the star athletes for them.

Jordan and Luka have almost similar career paths. They were both stars before they entered the league. Both of them made an impact in their rookie year and led the team to the playoffs in their second year. The duo faced initial disappointment in their starting years but still played great on a personal level.

This year has been different for Luka and the

Mavs. A new head coach, a new defensive scheme, and a better supporting cast have allowed Doncic to be at his best in this series. But their task ahead is easier said than done. The Mavs will take on the best team in the league, the Phoenix Suns for a spot in the Western Conference Finals. But they will be confident that they take on anyone, especially when they have a generational talent like Luka.
