Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves finally addressed the video that was going viral on the internet about him and Michael Jordan. In the video, Jordan appears to be unaware of who Karl is. Social media is buzzing over the video. 

Especially on Twitter, this video received a lot of tweets and comments from fans making jokes and featuring Jordan’s reaction when Karl said, hey. At the beginning of the video, Jordan made a goofy sneak attack on Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic. Karl stepped into the scene after a few minutes, but Jordan appeared unaware of him.

There are a lot of opinions on the internet concerning this, but he clarified it in a YouTube video. He explained what they were saying. There was so much background noise that people misjudged the situation.

Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns reacted to the viral video featuring Michael Jordan

According to Towns, he explained why Jordan was rushing and in a hurry and what exactly happened to cause the viral video. He explained: 

So he walked in and he was trying to tell me something. He knew what he wanted to say and he was trying to talk to me about the Charlotte game, about the Hornets game when I had 39 and I came through with the clutch shots. He was trying to tell me that and then something they were like trying to rush him because of 75. They were trying to get everyone organized to get the photos done and everything and get everything right.”

He then mentioned what Jordan said to him regarding their conversation: “MJ looks at me and he goes umm… I remember what you did to my team, I seen what you did to my team.”

Towns have been playing well for his team. During this season, he has performed well, and so far, he is contributing positively to the team. He is the best offensive big in Minnesota in terms of his versatility and dynamic play. The season-long average of his stats is 24.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 4.0 assists, while his three-point field goal percentage is 40.9%. His performance so far has been excellent.
