The game of basketball requires players to run the ball back and forth on both sides of the court at a rapid pace. A team only gets 24 seconds to start a play, dribble towards the opponent’s hoop and find a way to score. Thus, with such high levels of intensity involved, the finest of referees sometimes end up missing some small violations across a 40-minute game. While the modern NBA has top-notch technology and camera angles to make officiating more accurate, the old era of the league did not have such means to watch every player’s moves closely at all times. Recently, a renowned basketball trainer exposed Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Vince Carter, and other NBA stars for their rampant travel violations, without getting called out by the referees.
Basketball trainer and filmmaker Devin Williams recently uploaded a video on Twitter that features NBA stars breaking the basic rules of basketball during the games when they thought nobody was looking. Moreover, Williams also provided some funny asides while taking hilarious digs at players, including Jordan.

The caption of a recently posted video by Devin Williams on Twitter read, “I was told they played the right way back in the day.. WHAT IN THE HECK IS THIS!!??” Moreover, in the video, Williams compiled footage of All-Star veteran Vince Carter, Michael Jordan, and other NBA stars from the previous eras breaking the two-step rule of basketball. During one instance, Devin Williams commented, “You know, I think you guys think this is some sort of new issue. But this is 2006, Vince Carter gets the ball in the post and his feet start sliding around like socks in the kitchen. He’s got two feet but he thinks, he’s an octopus.”

I need a whole segment on this guy.” Thus, Williams ended up roasting the six-time NBA champ for failing to follow the rules on several occasions during his career.

A snippet in the video showed five-time NBA champ Duncan traveling inside the paint while attempting to put the ball in the hoop. “And here we are with a big fundamental, traveling all the way back to the Virgin Island. I don’t have a championship. But I do have a passport and I know what it’s like to travel,” said Williams.
