One of the greatest rivalries in basketball is Michael Jordan and Isiah Thomas. The rivalry was so intense, it still goes on to date. Just when people thought that the two legends had called it a truce, “The Last Dance” documentary dropped and in one of the episodes, Jordan talked about Isiah Thomas.

Jordan made some questionable remarks in an episode revolving around Thomas and his relationship with Jordan. Responding to that, Isiah Thomas called out Jordan in a podcast with Andre Iguodala and Evan Turner.

Isiah Thomas bashes Michael Jordan

The Chicago Bulls are regarded as one of the best teams in NBA history and for a good reason. The team won 6 NBA titles in 8 seasons while keeping the core of the team intact for so long. Michael Jordan and other stars like Scottie Pippen. Dennis Rodman also joined the star-studded lineup before the second three-peat. 

One of the many rivals of the great Chicago Bulls was the Detroit Pistons. Isiah Thomas had a personal rivalry with Michael Jordan, which continued both on and off the court.

During a podcast with Andre Iguodala and Evan Turner, Isiah Thomas addressed Jordan and bashed him for his statements regarding Thomas. He said, “Here is my problem. Now that I’ve watched the last dance, all of these I never knew how Jordan really felt. It’s like he has been hiding behind the trees, throwing rocks.

Jordan and Thomas had undeniably one of the best rivalries in NBA history. The feud started way back during the 1985 All-Star game. There were reports that Thomas wanted to freeze out Jordan for the match. Although Thomas has denied the allegations, it seems both of them are not willing to make things better.

The two have played 43 games against each other, with Thomas having the upper hand with 24 wins over Jordan’s 19 wins. Jordan averages 31.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.5 assists. Thomas, on the other hand, averages 21.0 points, 9.3 assists, and 3.8 rebounds.
