Michael Jordan has been known to make comments about his fellow teammates, sometimes roasting them publicly. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey in which he was asked about who is wiser between him and Charles Barkley, he responded, “I know when to eat; when not to eat”.
It was quite exciting to see both former basketball players going against each other and making fun of each other, as well as mentioning some of the events that happened in the games during the interview. Both players have maintained a friendly and competitive relationship with each other for many decades.

In the 90s, when everyone sought to tear down the era of Jordan, Barkley even stated that he is better than Jordan, however, that was before the 1993 match in which Phoenix Suns faced Michael Jordan.
“I shoulda got out of Philly three years earlier,” Barkley said, according to a 2013 edition of Sports Illustrated. “I told Cotton (Fitzsimmons, the Sun’s coach turned exec who orchestrated the deal), “I’ll get us to the Finals, and I think I can beat Michael Jordan.” [h/t Sportscasting.com]
