Air Jordans are the most glorified sneakers in the NBA. It was reported in ‘The Last Dance’ documentary that Michael Jordan was inclined to sign with Converse, which was the most popular amongst the players back in the 1980s. Sneaker giant Nike was just an up and comer in the arena of basketball shoes. Nike reportedly paid Jordan $250,000, which was more than double any competitor was willing to pay. Over four decades later, Jordan cannot stand people wearing anything but his shoes.
