LeBron James once again displayed why he is one of the best basketball players of all time in Game 3 against the Golden State Warriors. In the process, King James achieved another great feat. The Los Angeles Lakers star now sits fifth on the list of all-time playoff rebounds. While the NBA world celebrated the achievement, LeBron’s biggest critic again found a way to undermine the four-time NBA champion.

This significant feat is the most recent to be added to his long list of accomplishments. James, though, sees it as more than just his own achievements. He constantly has success for his team’s sake and winning in mind.

LeBron James gets slammed down

Skip Bayless is infamous for being the biggest LeBron James critic out there. He somehow finds a way to criticize James even when the world is singing his praises. From slamming LeBron for team-hopping to rubbishing his performances in the clutch, Skip has never strayed away from criticizing The King. This time, he decided to make a major claim.

Bayless tweeted, “There is now NO DOUBT who the Lakers’ best player is. Not LeBron.” Skip is probably referring to Anthony Davis as the best player on the team currently. After the loss in Game 2, where Davis had only 11 points and James led the team in scoring, Skip had mentioned that LeBron’s points don’t have the same impact anymore.

In Game 3, James had 21 points along with 8 rebounds and 8 assists, whereas Davis had 25 points along with 13 rebounds. Skip’s claim might carry some weight to it as the Lakers usually win whenever Davis performs well. However, the same can’t be said about LeBron. Nonetheless, Bayless’ controversial tweet managed to enrage a few LeBron fans and they let their feelings known.

A few fans even dragged Anthony Davis into the debate. As his performance has been inconsistent throughout the postseason, the player even ended up receiving backlash because of his inconsistency.
