The Bulls won the game comfortably against the Knicks (102-92) on February 14, 1991. All thanks to ‘the Black Jesus’, who thoroughly dominated the Knicks and finished as the highest scorer. He wrapped up the game with 29 points, along side grabbing two rebounds and dishing out three assists.

Jordan’s game against the Knicks was not the first time fans saw him dominate the court on Valentine’s day. In fact, the 14x All-Star played against the Orlando Magic on February 14, 1990. However, on that date, MJ played with a nameless No. 12 jersey.

The six-time Finals MVP couldn’t start against the Magic with his No. 23 jersey as it went missing just a few hours earlier before the game. Days later, it was found that the jersey was missing because one of the security personnel took it away the locker room.
Interestingly, the change in the jersey didn’t affect MJ a bit. In the game, he ended up dropping 49 points. However, despite Jordan’s valiant effort, the Magic came out victorious in the end.
