Michael Jordan won several titles as a player. He is still considered by many as the GOAT. But his skills as a team owner have not been appreciated the same way. Since Jordan bought the Charlotte Hornets, they have made the playoffs a handful of times. And with another play in tournament exit, Jordan and the Hornets have made massive changes.
James Borrego, the head coach of the Hornets for the last four years, has been fired. He has led the team to a 148-183 record, and he made the play-in tournament the last two years. His last season was his best as the Hornets finished 43-39. They entered the playoffs as the 10th seed and they fell to the Atlanta Hawks spectacularly.
