Even though players retire, their love for the game does not go away. We often see NBA legends, like Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan, in games sitting on courtside seats cheering their team and favorite player on. The All-Star game is one of those times when we often get to see multiple NBA legends under the same roof at the same time.

Fans often get to see Michael Jordan attending a Charlotte Hornets game, and Shaquille O’Neal, or Kareem Abdul Jabbar attending a Los Angeles Lakers game every now and then.
Magic Johnson recognizing greatness
And these legends admit that they love seeing greatness unravel on the court. Be it LeBron James dunking on other players on the floor or Stephen Curry knocking down long-range threes.
But sometimes players just enjoy watching greatness take place in a sport other than theirs. For instance, Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson enjoys watching NFL legend Tom Brady do his thing on the football field.
While on a show with Jimmy Kimmel, Magic spoke in high regard about Tom Brady. Johnson explained how Tom Brady is not a great player just because of his individual prowess but also because he makes his teammates better.
He went on to say, “I would say that I love watching Tom Brady play the game of football. Because he is a champion and he makes his teammates better right? If you think about the greatest athletes we’ve ever seen play, Michael Jordan did the same, Larry Bird did the same. Tom Brady is doing the same.”
“So I just want a great game. Whichever team wins, they win, but I cannot wait for Sunday,” he added.

Johnson a big fan of Tom Brady
Tom Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl champion. He has won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. So it is not a surprise to see Magic Johnson speak so highly about the quarterback.
Johnson himself is a five-time NBA champion and has won three MVP awards and three finals MVPs as well. Drafted number one overall in the 1979 NBA draft, Johnson was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2002 and is a beloved Los Angeles Lakers legend.
