James went into the game against the Raptors 55 points behind Karl Malone in the most points list. With the 36 point game, he is just 19 points away from tying with Karl Malone.

LeBron James after the game on Friday talked about being just 20 points away from being the No. 2 All-Time leading scorer in NBA history. 20 more points and James will only be behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the list.

LeBron’s legacy has been second to none. In terms of numbers, he is most possibly the best in NBA history. He has never failed to entertain, inspire, and perform at the highest level. Even at 37, he shows the ability to play like a player in his prime. His longevity, legacy, and legendary status are quite outstanding. It is fair to say there might never be another LeBron James.
The 128-123 victory for the Lakers was a desperate need. Russell Westbrook’s triple-double supported LeBron’s 36 points as he scored 20 points and had 10 rebounds and assists each.
