“Michael and I Taste Every..”: Alcohol Mogul and $400 million Worth Businesswoman Reveals Michael Jordan’s Attention to His Big Venture

Michael Jordan and success goes hand in hand. While many are aware of his exploits on the basketball court, he has a massive business empire as well. Thanks to numerous successful ventures, the NBA legend is a Billionaire.

One of his biggest business ventures is in tequila. Along with other NBA team owners, Jordan is the owner of Cincoro, which is quickly turning into one of the biggest tequila brands.

Interestingly enough, it seems Jordan likes to personally taste his products before launching them. This was revealed by the CEO of the company, Emilia Fazzalari.

Talking during an interview, she revealed, “Michael and I taste every single batch before we bottle to ensure its quality and consistency.” Interestingly enough, her husband, Wyc Grousbeck is the owner of the 2022 NBA finalists Boston Celtics.

Emilia and Wyc teamed up with Michael Jordan, Jeanie Buss, and Wes Edens to launch the brand. The company recently launched a new blend of its award-winning tequila, Cincoro Gold. The bottle is priced at $349.99 and will come in limited quantities.

Michael Jordan is not the only NBA star involved in tequila

Tequila is a fast-growing business venture. Needless to say, business persons worldwide did not leave the opportunity to invest in this industry. 

Alongside Michael Jordan, LeBron James also has his own tequila brand. He is a major investor in the Lobos 1707 brand along with Draymond Green, Rich Paul, and also Anthony Davis.

The Los Angeles Lakers star is regularly seen promoting his business venture on his social media accounts. Despite being rivals on the court, Draymond and LeBron are teammates when it comes to their business.

Interestingly enough, the Golden State Warriors star and LeBron featured in a commercial for their brand earlier this year. “Lobos 1707 is all about bringing people together and building a community that everyone can be a part of”, said LeBron. The brand also beat Michael Jordan’s brand Cincoro to clinch the best Reposado Tequila award for 2022.
