The sole reason behind Jimmy Butler being a perfect fit for Miami Heat is the team’s no-nonsense attitude. They have a winning culture that Butler thrives for and craved for with his previous teams. After many negative tags on him for being a bad teammate, the Heat embraced him with open arms. It is probably why they became the Eastern Conference champions last season.
Season for redemption

In fact, to everyone’s surprise, his teammates confessed that they absolutely adored the man. And the chemistry they had built clearly showed.

After terrible stints with former teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Philadelphia 76ers’, Butler was carrying out a bad reputation. Although the perception about him completely changed when he played for the Heat.
Why is Jimmy Butler a perfect fit for Miami Heat?
There is nobody better right now who knows Heat culture more than Udonis Haslem. He has played for Miami for 17 seasons now and knows exactly why Butler fits right in with them.
In the interview, he said, “Jimmy fits right in. Jimmy is one of us. When you put a dog in a kennel, he’s going to make a pack… We understand that you have to play this game with some sort of control rage to be successful. At least that’s how we do it and we ain’t for everybody and we understand that.”

“We play this game with some sort of control rage to get things done, man. Me and Jimmy almost threw coffee over each other over a card game in the bubble,” stated Haslem.
The way Butler carried Miami last season, they’ve easily added themselves to the list of title contenders for this season without any argument. So far, Miami isn’t doing as great as one would expect from the NBA Finalists, but a lot of the season is still left. As long as they have Jimmy Butler, anything is possible.
