The biographical drama is expected to take a deeper dive into the Nike-Jordan partnership. It will be depicted through the perspective of Nike executive Sonny Vaccaro and Nike co-founder, Phil Knight. Recently, Affleck shared details about his new project, where he would be helming in a directorial role.

In his recent statement shared by the media website Boss Hunting, Ben Affleck stated, “Matt and I are very excited for audiences to see?Air?and proud that it?s the first release from Artists Equity. Moreover, the Argo star added, “The movie was an extraordinary experience where we had the honor of working with some of the best cast and crew in the business, all of whom brought passion, persistence, and creativity to a collective effort at recreating a remarkable and aspirational story.?

In his statement, Ben Affleck seemed to be quite touched by Michael Jordan’s journey with Nike during the production of the film,?Air.?Moreover, the two-time Academy Award winner could not wait for the world to get a first look at his upcoming movie.

Interestingly, the movie has been written by Alex Covery, whose first draft of the film,?Air Jordan?made it to the list of the elite un-produced screenplays in the Black List 2021.
