In this season so far, he has missed one game already. And in all the others, he was seen hurting and screaming in pain while playing. His continuous struggle with being healthy is a constant battle. But the question remains. Is it aggravating the problem?
Can Anthony Davis still play?
Davis himself said that he will do whatever he can to push the team to a win. And he has been playing well, under the circumstances. He has been averaging 23.2 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Just four days ago, he also told the media that his back injury was getting better. He also confirmed his availability to play the next few games to the reporter.

The recent footage of Davis however, does not look good.
For the last two seasons, Anthony Davis has not been an active player. Davis spoke to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin and confessed that his injuries “messed” his head. He said he wanted to be there for the Los Angeles Lakers. And individually, he wants to improve his game. The lack of aggression stemmed from his injuries, said Davis.

He also said that he wasn’t chasing any award but was focused on playing all the games this season. Unfortunately, Davis can’t cross that off his bucket list.
Davis’ health is a top priority for the Lakers. He and LeBron James have been pinned as the winning pair. But with both their injuries taking the best out of them, Lakers fans are undoubtedly worried for the future. The Lakers have already slumped to a 2-9 record for the season so far.
