The Los Angeles Lakers are not having the greatest time so far. With so many expectations to begin the season, they have been an underwhelming team. Suffering yet another loss (against the Bucks), they now stand at 8-8 as they head to Boston for their second road game. However, this time around there is a slight chance that they may see LeBron James suit up.

Despite being 36, age is just a number for the ‘King’. He forms an integral part of the Lakers as he delivers every night. However, the miles on his body seem to be doing the talking as injuries haunt him to start the season. Missing the last games, the purple and gold have suffered without the Akron Hammer. But it looks like progress is surely taking place.

LeBron James upgrades to questionable

The ‘King’ has never suffered injuries similar to this season. Being sidelined twice already, his absence has done serious damage to the Lakers. But it looks like slow progress is taking place. With the Lakers ready to face the Greens, James’ injury status sees an upgrade to questionable.

While this may not be assuring of his return, it sure screams of it being close. Recently, even coach Frank Vogel said that James is very close to getting back on the court. With the way the ‘King’ takes care of his body, it is no surprise he is progressing so quickly. But it is still unlikely that LeBron James suits up against the Boston Celtics tomorrow.

Since being injured, James is yet to take part in a full practice. While he continues his rehab, getting back in game shape will also take time. Hence, there may be a chance of him returning late into their road trip or soon after. But the Lakers will not want to rush anything from last year’s experience.
