Married to Shaquille O’Neal’s Ex-Wife, Houston Pastor Takes 54 YO NBA Legend’s Grandson “Back to the Lord”

Following her divorce from NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, Shaunie is now enjoying life with Pastor Keion Henderson. The Houston Pastor has become one of the most sought-after spiritual figures in the country. Henderson’s connection to basketball doesn’t end with his wife and step-children though. Recently, he dedicated 11 babies “back to the Lord”, including the grandson of an NBA legend.

O’Neal and Shaunie got divorced all the way back in 2011. However, they still maintain a great relationship, primarily because of their kids. O’Neal even congratulated his ex-wife after she got married to Pastor Henderson last year.

The Pastor dedicated eleven babies back to the Lord yesterday. Among these babies was the grandson of the NBA legend Gary Payton, Jacoby Deuce Childs, who also happens to be the Pastor’s and Shaunie’s godson. Payton’s daughter Raquel and her husband Jesse Childs can be seen in the photos as well.

Henderson wrote, “Yesterday I had the pleasure of dedicating 11 babies back to the Lord. Among the 11, was Jacoby Childs, the godson to my wife @iamshaunie and I.” Shaunie even commented on the post, saying, “Best day ever!!!” which was followed by multiple heart emojis.

When did the couple get married?

Shaunie, the ex-wife of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, married Pastor in May 2022. The couple dated for a year and then eventually announced their engagement in November 2021. Their wedding ceremony was held at the Aurora Anguilla Resort and Golf Club, where over 200 people were present. The occasion was captured on film by the VH1 crew, and a special series titled Shaunie & Keion’s Destination “I Do” was released with 3 episodes.
