Out of the millions who looked forward to watching the NBA live, Maroon 5 lead Adam Levine had a special message. Taking to his Instagram, he revealed how he can cry because of the NBA.
Levine wrote, “The first day I haven’t played 2K since March. I could cry. I love you basketball. I missed you. So damn much! Go Lakers!“
Levine shares a special relationship with the Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe Bryant in particular. He is a long-time fan of the Lake Show and ‘The Mamba’ and is not shy to showcase his love for the two.

The year 2020 reminds all NBA fans of a tragedy that is tough to move on from. On the 26th of January, the world lost Kobe Bryant, his daughter, and 7 others in a terrible helicopter crash.
During a live event featuring Maroon 5, Adam Levine paid a special tribute to Bryant. Levine donned Bryant’s number 8 jersey while singing ‘Memories’ on the Jimmy Fallon Show.

For the uninitiated, Bryant represented the Lakers wearing number 8 till the 2006-07 season. He then switched to the iconic number 24 which he is best remembered for.
