Houston got their first win of the season. The Rockets took down the Utah Jazz 114-108. The game was fairly close in all four quarters, but the Rockets managed to scrape through with a win. Even though Houston came out on top, a brawl almost took place on the Rockets’ bench.

During a timeout in the final minute of the fourth quarter, two Rockets players got into an argument on the bench. With 26.8 seconds left in the game, Houston was up 110-108. And despite having a two-point lead, two Rockets’ young guns almost clashed with each other.

Houston Rockets were able to avoid a scuffle and get a victory

Jabari Smith Jr. and Jalen Green were seen talking to each other. But before anyone could intervene, a normal conversation turned into a heated argument. And it almost escalated into a brawl between the two teammates.

Smith was sitting on the bench while Green came up to talk to him. And after a while, Smith seemed enraged. It looked like he was about to get into Green?s face while Kevin Porter Jr. tried to hold Smith back.

Smith freed himself from Porter Jr. as he stood up. But the two teammates were separated by other players and coaching staff before things escalated any further. However, the highlight of the scuffle wasn?t those two players.

Rather, it was Houston Rockets veteran Eric Gordon sitting on the bench. Gordon seemed exhausted and not at all interested in the scuffle between his teammates. Fans on Twitter had an absolute meltdown at Gordon?s reaction.

A fan tweeted, ?Eric Gordon is looking like Man I?m too old for this sh*t.? While another fan commented, ?Just two entitled b*ms talking about things they don?t know anything about. This is the AAU system in full view. These kids thinking they are the sh*t because at one time they were 5 ?? recruits.?

A bright future for the Rockets

Despite their argument on the bench, the Rockets came out victorious. Jalen Green and Jabari Smith Jr. both had a great game against the Utah Jazz. Green scored 25 points with 3 rebounds and 3 assists. And Smith had 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists in the game.
