The All-Star spectacle concluded on Sunday night. We were blessed with countless moments to talk about in amazement and craze of the sport we love. From LeBron James and Michael Jordan hugging each to Michael Jordan challenging Magic Johnson to a one on one, we witnessed special memories being created which is always the case when all the greats of the game show up and just be themselves for the All-Star event.

Team LeBron emerged victorious as Stephen Curry showed an exceptional performance grabbing 50 points just 2 off the all-time record. He ridiculously hit 16 three-pointers and deservedly won the MVP award, the newly modeled Kobe Bryant trophy.

Stephen Curry was obviously humbled by the honor of winning the Kobe Bryant trophy after his majestic performance. This was the first time it was awarded for being the All-Star MVP.

Legendary Lakers Likeness

Lakers fans got a legendary moment when at All-Star 75, all the influential players announced in the 75 years took a picture together. There was indeed one man missing, just physically though. Kobe Bryant still remains one of the best ever to have played the game.

LeBron James took to his Instagram as he shared a post in his story, which had edited a picture of Kobe Bryant in the photograph taken of the other Los Angeles Lakers legends. The gesture of leaving a space in between for Kobe was heartfelt, sweet,, and grand at the same time.

He captioned the story, “MAMBA FOREVER!!!! THE NAME LIVES ON”

LeBron James and his love for Kobe

It was not the first time that LeBron publicly gave tribute to the late NBA legend. In fact, on every chance he gets, James always pays his respect to his friend, inspiration, and the Lakers legend.

After the tragic death of Kobe, LeBron gave him tribute in his own way as he got a tattoo back in 2020 to remember the legacy of Kobe Bryant. Along with LeBron, teammate Anthony Davis got a tattoo of his own as he also made sure to show his love and admiration for the legend.

Time and again, every NBA great shows his love, admiration, and utmost respect for Kobe Bryant. The NBA legend lives on even now and will continue for years to come. The tragic accident could never take away the immortal nature of Kobe’s legacy.
