Despite the big numbers from LeBron, one player who has created a buzz and has been a key element for the Lakers, is Malik Monk. Although his numbers aren’t as large as the ‘King’s, they are still a worthy supporting factor for the franchise. However, success has not come to the team regularly. In a recent interview, Monk shed light on a major problem in the Lakers’ squad that is holding back the franchise.

The Team Dynamics of LeBron James’ Lakers

In a recent interview with ESPN, Malik Monk gave an insight into a major problem in the Lakers’ locker room. While speaking about how the ‘connection’ between Austin Reaves and him has been a hit this season, he explained how being in constant communication with the rookie is a key element in the duo’s success.

“Ups and downs. Rookie wall. Older guys yelling at the rookies because it’s their fault,” said Monk.

“Everything they do, it’s your fault out there because they know everything and you don’t and when you mess up, you just got to take it,” he explained.

” You got to deal with things like that. I talk to Austin almost every day,” he added.
