However, when Poole’s earnings were shown to surpass the overall career earnings of ‘His Airness’, fans immediately jumped into his defense.

Michael Jordan reportedly earned over $90 million in his basketball career. ‘Air Jordan’ entered the league through the 1984 NBA draft and played for the Chicago Bulls?for most of his career. In his first season alone, Jordan earned about $550,000; that was just the start. From then on, MJ’s earnings kept increasing along with his fame. During the years that MJ led the Chicago Bulls to their first three-peat, he made over $9 million in three seasons.
The highest salary he received was during his last season with the Bulls, when he reportedly made about $33,140,000. By the time he retired from the court, his total earnings were calculated to be around $93,772,500.
On the other hand, Jordan Poole was drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 2019. The Warriors signed a four-year rookie contract with Poole that was worth over $10 million. The NBA star is about to enter the last season of his contract. However, it was recently announced that Poole has signed a contract extension. The new four-year deal is reportedly worth $140 million, bringing Poole’s career earnings to over $150 million.

If it comes to comparing the overall salary of the two NBA stars, then Jordan Poole clearly comes on top. There is a significant difference between the two amounts.
