The Golden State Warriors and their sweet run in the league ended a while ago. Their current poor run of form seems to continue as they lost on Tuesday against the Phoenix Suns. But all wasn’t that grim for the Dubs fans, as a new development filled their hearts with reinvigorated hope. Magic Johnson tweeted out in huge relief and a swarm of fans joined the Los Angeles Lakers legend as they celebrated the occasion. Stephen Curry had been out since December 14th due to his shoulder subluxation injury, missing 11 games during the hiatus.

However, Curry returned to action on Tuesday’s game against the Suns, as the Warriors fans celebrated with Magic Johnson. Johnson has time and again mentioned that the four-time NBA Champion is one of his favorite players ever to watch and he reiterated that in his tweet welcoming the Dubs superstar to the hardwood.

He was having an MVP season and he?s one of my favorite players of all time to watch. This is great news for the Warriors and the league!” Magic tweeted recently. Fans flooded Magic’s post echoing similar sentiments, while being excited for Curry to play against the Phoenix Suns.

Here are some of the reactions:

Johnson was pretty distraught that his ‘MVP season’ was halted midway, but was nonetheless happy to see him back.?
