Luka Doncic’s Teammate, Who Was Also a Hollywood Star, Once Confidently Claimed He Would “Kick Keanu Reeves’ A**” in Real Life

Some of the tallest players in the NBA are not as elite as everyone would expect them to be. Players like Tacko Fall, Boban Marjanovic, and Bol Bol don’t get enough minutes to play. Though while teams try to figure out if these big guys could keep up with the pace for long, Hollywood has a somewhat better job for these giants.

There are a lot of NBA players who’ve appeared in movies. Shaquille O’Neal for example has done the most movies as a player. Marjanovic has appeared in a couple of movies so far, though one of them is a legendary franchise.

Boban beating Keanu Reeves will definitely have Luka Doncic and the Mavs on guard

Marjanovic was seen in the latest John Wick movie. He played Ernest in the movie who ultimately had to settle ties with John Wick himself. Boban had a rough fight in the movie, trying to finish John with his enormous hands, but ended up lying dead in the library.

This fight scene was entertaining as the 7’6 giant was getting beaten up by someone way shorter than him.

While this was a scripted fight scene, Boban believes Keanu Reeves wouldn’t stand a chance with him in real life. In an interview after a playoff game in the bubble, Chuck asked the 7-footer if would kick Keanu Reeves’ a** if the fight happened in real life. He replied, “Of course my friend. Of course, trust me.”. This had the Inside the NBA crew laugh out loud.

While this may be true, Boban stands at 7’6 and weighs around 311 pounds, whereas Keanu is just 6’1. It won’t be fair for Reeves and after a possible blowout by Boban, Luka Doncic, and the rest of the team would try to distance themselves from him. While his appearance on John Wick was crazy, Adam Sandler’s upcoming movie features Boban as a 22-year-old basketball player who is a father of a 10-year-old son.

It will be interesting to see Boban in the movie ‘Hustle’ which casts a lot more NBA players including him. Fans are waiting for this film as it revolves around the Sixers franchise and casts Adam Sandler who is a scout looking for talent all around the world. This will be Boban’s third film releasing on June 8th, 2022.
