The Dallas Mavericks are seeing a little glimmer of hope against the Golden State Warriors. Up until yesterday, the Warriors were 3-0 up in the series. But now, the Mavs have gotten one win at their home. Luka Doncic scored the most points from either side to win game 4 against Stephen Curry and co.
The Mavericks escaped a scare of getting swept off 4-0 by the Warriors. But they had to wait for their chance and really had to wait through the delay at the start of the second half in game 4. A leak in the roof at American Airlines Center delayed the game.?

Water dripped down near the Warriors? bench, as arena workers scrambled to cover the court with towels. A couple of workers were given the queasy task of going to the catwalk and fixing the leak on the roof. Luka had some fun in his post game interview while addressing the incident.
?Luka, you?ve done a lot for this franchise,? a reporter asked. ?Is there anything you can help do to fix the roof??
?I wish,? Don?i? replied. ?I?ll ask Dirk [Nowitzki]. Dirk has more memories in this building.? The reporter joked back, ?He?ll say he built it so maybe he is to blame.?

Dirk spent all 21 seasons of his career with the Dallas Mavericks. A true legend of the game and for the Mavs. If anybody knows the place, it?s surely him.

Luka was in form as he has been in all the 3 games before this and in fact all season. He scored 30 points and led the scorers from both teams. Moreover, he controlled the game from the start as the Mavs came in hard at the Warriors. Luka ended up with 14 rebounds and 9 assists, just one away from an impressive triple double.

The Warriors have done very well this series. They saw the game slip away from their grasp. However, their bench pulled the game and put up an impressive display to narrow down the gap from over 20 or so points to 10 points. The Warriors can take a lot of positives from game 4. As for Mavs, they need more of the same for the next three games.
