Nevertheless, the things he did on the floor were immensely appreciated by coaches and his teammates. Rodman?s gameplay was not focused on offense but on what he did on the defensive side. However, a recent comparison of the Worm to Russell Westbrook has fans riled up for all the wrong reasons.

Dennis Rodman did things on the hardwood that only a few have been able to imitate. It may not have been scoring a bunch of points for the team. However, one thing was for certain,?Dennis the Menace and his hustle and drive could not be taught.

A comparison of Dennis Rodman to Russell Westbrook may not be the most accurate one out there. There is a huge difference between Rodman and Westbrook. For one, they play totally different positions on the floor.?And fans made sure to speak their minds about it.

Westbrook, being a point guard, has to run the offense and also be aggressive on the offensive side of the floor. Rodman, on the other hand, played at the power forward position. For the Worm to focus his game more on rebounding and defense was only natural.

Rodman was able to help out his team on the defensive end of the floor. An area of the game players don?t focus much on. Which in turn gave the opportunity for Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen to shine on offense. He always led the team in rebounding, helping in creating fastbreak opportunities for his teammates.

There have also been a few comparisons drawn between Jeremy Sochan and Dennis Rodman. Sochan has already displayed that he can not only score the ball but also be a reliable ball handler. If Sochan develops even a hint of Dennis Rodman?s game, one can be assured that the San Antonio Spurs will be a tough team to beat.?
