The NBA playoffs that year for the Warriors began at home against the James Harden-led Houston Rockets. In the early minutes of Game 1, Curry got into an ugly altercation with LeBron James’s new Los Angeles Lakers teammate Patrick Beverley. The two players almost got into a brawl when after fouling Curry, Beverley tangled with him, which lead to Curry pushing him away. The heated exchange set the tone for the rest of the series.
