The Los Angeles Lakers face a tough battle as they take on the Phoenix Suns. The Lakers are coming off back-to-back losses after losing Anthony Davis. Now, they take on the best team of the Western Conference. However, they almost got the biggest scare of the season after LeBron James went down.

The Suns are one of the best teams in the NBA. Ever since the entry of Chris Paul, the Suns have transformed into a competing franchise.

On the other hand, the Lakers have struggled to find their groove for the season dealing with injuries all along.
LeBron James with yet another injury for the season
As the Lakers tried to climb their way back into the game, James took it to the basket. After hitting Deandre Ayton with a beautiful spin move, he got fouled by Jae Crowder. As he got down, his left ankle landed on Crowder and twisted. James went down in pain and hit the floor in agony. While it seemed bad, James got right back up to continue playing.
LeBron James has been one of the most durable superstars the NBA has had. However, his body is showing signs of his age. He has had the most injuries in this season by far and may have to deal with another.

This will be a huge loss for the Lakers who are already dealing with a bucket of injuries.
Currently, James is leading the scoring for the night. Westbrook has done his job with 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. Trevor Ariza has come back well with 11 points on a perfect night so far. However, other stars like Isaiah Thomas have struggled to get it going while Carmelo Anthony is out of the game with two technical fouls.

A hot start by the Lakers was cut short by the Phoenix Suns. Despite a poor shooting display in the first half, the Suns came up with a two-point advantage.
