With the NBA All-Star break coming soon, the first half of the season is almost over. Tonight, the league announced the starters for the glorious All-Star game. The players are selected by accounting for votes from fans and the media. As expected, LeBron James will once again captain the West All-Star.
This season will mark LeBron becoming an All-Star starter for the 17th time in his career. This is the all-time record, and LBJ has done it in consecutive years. The closest player to Bron’s streak was former NBA player Bob Cousy with 13 consecutive appearances.

One might even make a case for LeBron to win the fifth MVP of his career this season. He is averaging a stunning 25.7 points per game while shooting more than 50% from the field! These are without a doubt MVP-like numbers from him.
