The Los Angeles Lakers find themselves near the bottom of the NBA ocean. A 2-9 record has the 17-time champions om danger of their worst record in franchise history. Likewise, it seems LeBron James went out on a little scouting mission while attending the Sierra Canyon Midnight Madness.
As arguably one of the greatest basketball players, James’ influence ran through to his kids. Both Bronny and Bryce James are a part of one of the best basketball programs in Sierra Canyon. The brother duo was present at the school’s hit event, Midnight Madness. The two even showed off their bounce to the crowd in front of their father.

While ‘King James’ primarily came to watch his heirs play, however, NBA fans couldn’t help but put a hilarious Lakers twist to his appearance.
Is LeBron James recruiting for the Lakers?
In a season where the Akron Hammer battles father time, he took a break to tend to his two sons. Arriving at the Sierra Canyon Midnight Madness, he enjoyed a thrilling evening. The crowd went crazy at the sight of the four-time champion. However, NBA Twitter turned it into a giggle from afar.
Going back to the Los Angeles Lakers’ ongoing disaster season, they suggested LeBron James was there for business. Notably, his next move for the purple and gold.
Here are some of the reactions from NBA Twitter:
Looking for players to recruit.

The Lake Show’s roster problems are probably their biggest downfall this season. Inadequate to bring the best out of LeBron James, their offense ranks as one of the league’s worst. Moreover, they are shooting all-time worst numbers in NBA history. If there is any hope for a comeback, the storied franchise will certainly have to make some big changes soon.
With the current scenario, it might be impossible for the Lakers to be mighty again. In an era of shooting, the 2020 champions are making just 29.3% of their threes, the worst in the NBA. The reported injury scare to their 37-year-old superstar only makes things worse.
Surrounding both Russell Westbrook and LeBron James with capable shooters might just change things around. However, that might require Rob Pelinka to give away some first-round picks.
