After being put in a hole, The Phoenix Suns are digging their way out. Following a loss in Game 4 against the Pelicans, the Suns are controlling the home court in the best possible way. However, they are still without their leading scorer, Devin Booker, who suffered a hamstring injury in Game 2. But it seems the Suns guard has found a new role on the sidelines.
After making an emphatic run to the finals last season, the Suns want the taste of victory. They cruised through the regular season with the best record in the NBA. And it looked all the same as they took the playoff stage. But they received a major shock in Game 2. After being hot all game long, Booker picked up an injury that has kept him out since. Despite being on the sidelines, however, Book is very much still in the competitive spirit.
Fans loved the energy Book showed as he was animated during the Suns’ Game 4 clash against the Pelicans.

Booker contributing to the Suns without scoring?
The playoffs bring a different competitive fire in the players. While it is most evident on the court, the bench players also fire up their players. For Book, he took this role seriously. Watching the game from the sidelines, he had an animated reaction to a call and even walked onto the floor to confront the referees.
Likewise, looking at Book’s reaction, Twitter did not hold back. They roasted the Suns guard for his wild reaction during the ongoing playoff clash.

While Booker isn’t on the floor, his teammates are doing a great job of controlling. After his lackluster Game 4 performance, Chris Paul came out strong. He has already tallied 16 points and 9 assists and is leading the Suns to a comfortable win. Mikel Bridges is shining on both ends of the floor. With his 18 points on 70% shooting, the DPOY finalist has also blocked 3 shots. DeAndre Ayton hasn’t dropped off from his scoring streak as has accumulated 18 points and 7 rebounds.
The Pelicans’ three offensive weapons are looking for their groove. Brandon Ingram is pursuing his debut playoff series win. The former Lakers star has contributed with 19 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists so far. CJ McCollum is struggling to find his shot scoring 14 points on 35% shooting from the floor. After his dominant display in the last game, Jonas Valanciunas has set himself up well. The big man has put up 12 points and 12 rebounds so far.
