The 75th anniversary of the NBA turned out to be very lucky for the Golden State Warriors, who defeated the Los Angeles Lakers on the opening night of the 2021-22 season. On the other hand, the Lakers have carried their losing streak from the preseason into the regular season. This can’t be a very good sign for all they sought out to accomplish with the super team they built this offseason. Seems like a trio is not all that it takes to win games. And here’s what the other NBA players had to say about the Warriors finally showing they are title contenders this season.

Much like the preseason, Jordan Poole’s performance was a difference-maker. He scored 20 points, just one less than that of Steph, who had 21 points, along with 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.
