Fans widely regard Paul as one of the greatest players. However, he’s yet to win a championship. But with him joining a super team like GSW, Paul is strengthening his chances. Hearing this, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry express their excitement in welcoming the 38-year-old to their team.

There’s no denying that Paul is an elite athlete in the league. The 12x NBA All-Star has been traded six times and this time around, he might get to add a trophy to his stats.

Talking about his new teammate, Curry says that “It’s going to be amazing.”

Although he acknowledges that this will be a big change because of their shared history; this addition will be beneficial for the team.

Curry reminisces about his North Carolina days when Paul used to be his mentor. As a young and upcoming athlete, Paul helped improve his game. During the podcast with Kenny Beecham, Curry sang high praises for his mentor. He said that every team that the seasoned star joins becomes better and that is why the move made by GSW is of such great significance.

While Curry claims his team is going to be better prepared with CP on their side; Thompson recalls old memories.

The 33-year-old calls it an honor to play alongside one of the greatest of his generation. However, he says that having CP in the same colors will be a little weird. “It?s a little weird because we?ve had so many battles in the past with Chris,” Thompson added.

Both the Warriors superstars show their utmost respect to Paul. They acknowledge his contribution to the game and hope for a better season together.
