While some fans are sympathising with Westbrook regarding this season, some of them have left no stone unturned to roast him.
Brilliant Russell Westbrook knocks out the Nuggets
There is no doubt Russell Westbrook has been one of the best players this past decade. Although his season with the Los Angeles Lakers is one to forget, his 2016-17 season is nothing less than legendary.

He got 50 triple doubles during this season with the Oklahoma City Thunder! Thanks to his performances, he got the MVP award over the likes of Kevin Durant for that season.
One of his best performances came against the Denver Nuggets. With time running out and his team down by 10, Brodie took matters into his own hands.

If eliminating the Nuggets from the playoff race was not enough, Westbrook also won the award for NBA’s Game Winner of the Year.

More like luck. We can see over his career, not a good three point shooter, not a winner, not clutch.
