While speaking to Dan Patrick, Crawford spoke about how his dream came true, as he did an iconic commercial with his idol.
Jamal Crawford becomes Michael Jordan
Michael Jordan was heading into his last NBA season in 2003. During this time, he made one of the most iconic commercials that first aired during the Super Bowl. The commercial depicted a 23-year-old MJ playing one on one with his 39-year self. However, what many people don’t know is Jamal Crawford depicted the Bulls Jordan in the commercial. Recently, while on the Dan Patrick Show, Crawford spoke about doing the iconic commercial with his idol.
He said: “I’m like what’s the lines? He’s like no likes, let’s just play one on one. So I start reaching for the ball, he’s like you ‘You reach I teach’. I’m going off for his flow.” Crawford continued saying, “I did the one-on-one stuff on the court, talking to him playing one on one. It was really a dream come true. I didn’t know then, it would be such an iconic commercial.”

Crawford got the full Jordan experience going at it with his idol. But the commercial itself summed up the legend of Michael Jordan perfectly. Jordan was an animal, and all he wanted to do was win.
