Gilbert Arenas was a menace on the court and was perhaps as good of a player as anyone during his heyday in the NBA. As it seems though, he was a menace off the court as well and thoroughly earned his nickname ‘No Chill Gil’. And his former Washington Wizards teammate Nick Young is completely aware of that.
Nick Young recently made an appearance on VladTV. He revealed how the Wizards rookies were yelled at by the franchise’s superstar Arenas. He then went on to reveal that the terrorizing nature of Arenas stretched beyond the realms of hoops. In fact, he escalated his bullying to the point that even Young’s son got a taste of it.

Arenas, according to the former NBA champion, had caused about $150,000 in damage to his property. He mentioned that ‘Agent Zero’ had taken the wheels off his car. He also stated that he stole his four-wheeler and was driving it through the neighborhood trash cans. Young further noted that Arenas still hasn’t returned his four-wheeler.
The interviewer then highlighted Arenas’ appearance on his show, when they showed a video of him terrorizing Young’s kid. He went live on Instagram while at Young’s house and can be seen hitting Nick Jr. with a pillow, knocking him to the ground.

The interviewer then recounted Arenas telling him about duct-taping Young’s son to a door. Young burst out laughing as he confirmed this by saying, “He calls me and tells me, ‘Let’s do a prank, let me duct tape your son,'” said Young. “Like, how does it sound Gil? Duct tape my son? You think I’m gonna let you duct tape by son Gil,'” he recounted while laughing hysterically.
This level of roasting and pranking undoubtedly sheds light on Young and Arenas’ close friendship.

He was a top player with a polished offensive skill set. Arenas could shoot from long range or put the ball on the floor and force his way to the hoop. He was a major mismatch for his defenders since he was extremely strong for his size and position.
Arenas averaged 20.7 points and dished out 5.3 assists in the 552 games he played. His finest years were arguably from 2005 to 2007, when he was a three-time NBA All-Star and was even named to the All-NBA teams thrice. In his heyday, he was perhaps one of the most gifted scorers; however, injuries cut short what could have been a legendary career.
