With the regular season in play, most teams, like LeBron James’ Lakers, have gone through major changes. However, some lineups look quite the same, take, for example, the Portland Trail Blazers.
The off-season was full of worry for Portland because of Damian Lillard. The star had openly admitted his displeasure with the organisation and was probably considering a move away. But in the end, loyalty won and Lillard decided to stay back. However, he did evaluate his options with the group of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

During a WNBA game, a video of Lillard went viral. With LeBron in attendance for the game, they were seen sharing a hug and talking about something. This was in the heat of the time Lillard said the Trail Blazers were not a championship team. Hence, fans thought of this as a recruiting move by the ‘King’. And they may be true to some point.
Recently, Chris Haynes spoke with Damian Lillard to break down his off season. During the conversation, Lillard revealed how he met LeBron and AD for lunch after the WNBA game meeting. Fans were quick to react to this news.

This is when they shared a talk and James invited him over for lunch. While Dame stated it wasn’t a recruitment meet, fans still took to twitter to react to this news.

Lillard even revealed how LeBron James spoke about living in LA. Furthermore, Bron questioned Lillard about his current position and what were his plans. This appeared very much in-line with LeBron making a move to help the Blazers star take interest in joining the Lake Show. However that didn’t happen because throughout the meeting, Dame was a Trail Blazer. Lillard told LeBron James that leaving Portland may not be the route he wants to take.
While he does want to win, Lillard wants to stay true to Portland and win a championship there. Earlier, his main problem was the organization’s mindset. He contemplated the move only because he felt the Trail Blazers were not trying to win. Maybe that’s changed now.
