Russell Westbrook’s arrival to the Los Angeles Lakers team didn’t go as well as the fans thought. Especially for the fans who waited for him all summer to see his performance. However, his performance didn’t live up to the audience’s expectations. While he performs at his best, there are a few heavy mistakes that he makes occasionally. It provides an opportunity for people to comment and criticize his playing style. During a game shot, a clip of LeBron James checking the stats list became viral on Instagram.

Westbrook’s reaction to seeing James at that point was captured on camera. Some fans commented on the post with hilarious comments about Westbrook’s poor performance.

Based on Westbrook’s recent performance and the Laker’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, the reaction on Instagram was justified. On the same night, the Golden State Warriors welcomed back one of their top players, Klay Thompson. It wasn’t good to see the Lakers snap their four-game winning streak. On 16.7% shooting, Westbrook made about 6 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists, which was his worst performance of the season.

Based on Westbrook’s performance, it is pretty clear he is going to have a tough time as the Lakers are obligated to carry him for two more years because of his contract, but that doesn’t mean he is safe from the reactions of the fans.
