One spot in the NBA finals has been decided, and it is none other than the Golden State Warriors. The Stephen Curry-led team puts forward a strong case for taking home the title this year. Moreover, this would be the 4th title for Curry, the same number of titles as LeBron James.

Interestingly enough, this has led to a Curry vs LeBron debate. Fans argue that Steph has a legacy equal to that of King James. However, an eminent analyst thinks otherwise.

According to Brian Windhorst, LeBron would laugh at the Curry comparisons. Although Curry’s career is nothing less than legendary, it does not come close to the Los Angeles Lakers star.

Analyst bashes all the Stephen Curry and LeBron James comparisons

There is no denying that Stephen Curry and LeBron James are two of the most iconic players ever. While LeBron has 4 NBA titles with 3 teams, Curry has 3 titles with the Golden State Warriors. Moreover, the Warriors are in the NBA finals this year, which opens the possibility of Steph winning his fourth.

While fans argue regarding the legacies of both the players, Brian Windhorst bashes all the Curry and LeBron comparisons. He said, “LeBron James would laugh at the concept that they’re being compared like this.”

Despite Curry possibly having the same number of titles as James, titles simply don’t decide how great a player is. To put things into perspective, Bill Russell is the player with the most number of NBA titles, but players like Michael Jordan are preferred over him.

When talking about numbers this season, LeBron James is simply in a league of his own. However, Curry has helped his team get through the playoffs while putting up insane numbers.

James averaged 30.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 6.2 assists this season for a pitiful Los Angeles Lakers side. On the other hand, Steph averaged 25.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.3 assists this season. Moreover, his form in the playoffs has been phenomenal, which earned him the Western Conference Playoffs MVP award.
