LeBron James put up a show on Sunday in front of a familiar crowd during the All-Star game. While Stephen Curry won the Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP Award yesterday, it was LeBron who stole the show with the game-winner. During the 75th-anniversary ceremony, he gave a tribute to Kobe Bryant and was happy for Vanessa, who got to witness the new All-Star trophy in the name of Kobe.

King James was also part of the 75th-anniversary ceremony during the All-star. He was named among the top 75 players in the history of the league. James shared the stage with the likes of Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Shaquille O’Neal, among others during the half-time break of the all-star game.

“But, you know, going over to see Vanessa. Seeing his montage all on the jumbotron and all over and also seeing the trophy be made in his honor. I’m just happy to be a part of the game and the trophy is a symbolism of everything that he’s done for this game.”

James is now in the elite company of three players with over 15 All-Star appearances. He is currently tied with Kobe on the All-Star appearances and is only behind Kareem (19). In fact, James is also the only active player in the top 10 selection for All-Star. He has a good chance of equaling Kareem’s record next season.

LeBron couldn’t win the All-Star MVP award, which has been renamed in the honor of Kobe Bryant, this time. Curry scored 50 points for Team LeBron and ran away with the Kobe Bryant MVP award. However, LeBron may equal Kobe’s four All-Star MVP awards next year.
