On many occasions, James has stepped up and fought for or against various social causes that he believes in. Recently, he addressed the same, stating that he doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. After all, he has been doing it for years now.

Yet, LeBron the person is a totally different person. As much as we love the fierce, tenacious individual on the court, he is one of the kindest human beings going around. More than anything, James strongly believes in fighting for the causes that are close to his heart.

LeBron James gets real about continuing his fight for social causes

For years now, LeBron has supported several causes in the United States. The 37-year-old is active on social media and has made multiple generous donations as well. As reported by ESPN, James has made it clear that regardless of what unfolds on the court, his fights and battles off the court will remain the same. This includes fighting for social justice, whether in his country or anywhere in the world.

In an interview, LeBron spoke about fighting for the right cause. He added that it wasn’t always easy to take a stance, but it had to be done for the betterment of society. “But at the end of the day, we can’t stop,” he claimed. “We can’t stop speaking up for things that are unjust. We can’t stop speaking up about things that we feel are wrong or things that are right.”

Moreover, he finished with a strong statement about how things must change. “And what will change for me, and what has already changed, is I will continue to speak up for my people no matter if [society] likes it or not.”

Irrespective of how challenging the outcome, LeBron James has clearly vowed to keep fighting the right battles. Fighting against a range of serious issues, he has already come out victorious many a time. Yet, there is a long way to go!
