Speaking of high-school players, there is one another who currently has a lot of attention around him. This is none other than LeBron James’ son, Bronny. Bronny has evolved into a solid combo guard and has garnered plenty of attention from top college basketball teams.

However, there is one player whose performances are stronger than Bronny’s. This is DJ Wagner Jr. The guard from Camden has been making some quiet noise and has appeared to be a better player than Bronny.

DJ Wagner Jr. and Bronny James

DJ Wagner Jr. has emerged to become the top-ranked high-school player in the class of 2023 according to ESPN. The Camden High star relies on his strengths that feature quick dribbling, the ability to change direction, and footwork, to score for his team.

Additionally, he has also showcased signs of his defensive ability by reading passing lanes to steal the ball. Moreover, he has the ability to drive to the rim as well as take jump shots with good efficiency.

On the other hand, Bronny appears to be more of a facilitator. Since arriving at Sierra Canyon, the son of the ‘King’ has been around much older players, which is why he recognizes the importance of every player’s role on the team.

However, Bronny has put forth his assertiveness as he becomes one of the upperclassmen of the team. He is able to hit three-point shots and shoot off the dribble too. Moreover, his explosiveness is something that has caught the eye of many fans.

On the 30th of January 2022, both young stars faced off against each other while representing their respective high schools. At the end of the game, it would be Camden who would come out on top with a four-point victory powered by a 21 point performance from Wagner Jr.

On the other hand, Bronny finished with just 9 points but showed off his passing and defense to pull Sierra Canyon back into the game after a poor first quarter.
