The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a bad loss against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday. Apparently, it was their worst performance so far. Afterward, LeBron James decided not to address the media at a post-game media conference.

According to the results of the Laker’s statistics this season, going on back-to-back losses has greatly dented their confidence since this game could have been crucial to their victory, but they lost drastically.

In the end, the Nuggets scored 133 points, and the Lakers lost by 37 points. When it comes to watching James play, he has always given his all, but with his last game, he made only 9-of-23 shots and had two assists.

In the wake of the Lakers’ blowout loss to the Nuggets, LeBron James remains silent

On the day after the Lakers suffered their third straight loss, one of their biggest fans commented on their play against the Nuggets. Magic Johnson expressed his thoughts online as follows, “After being blown out by the Nuggets 133-96, we as Lakers fans can accept being outplayed but we deserve more than a lack of effort and no sense of urgency. Owner @JeanieBuss, you deserve better.”

Following this disappointing night at the office, ‘King’ James decided to sit out the press conference and did not issue any statement to the media. Chiefly, this is a rather rare occurrence considering the fact that LeBron James almost always shows up to face the music.

James’ output in his past few matches, including Wednesday’s game against the Sacramento Kings, hasn’t been great as we may speculate that his age and long hours playing is affecting his performance.

In addition to him, Russell Westbrook and Dwight Howard have held the team together, but the rest of the team has not been on top of its game. Due to the Lakers’ back-to-back losses, they are at 21-22, making it difficult for them to stay among the top eight teams in the Western Conference.
