LeBron James’ name is one amongst the most elite players in the NBA. The Los Angeles Lakers icon has earned success on and off the court, making him one of the richest athletes in the world. Well, along with NBA titles, James also seems to be into collecting a few other items.

James has been reported to have an impressive watch collection. Often choosing different watches to wear to various occasions, some of his more-expensive choices are easily spotted.

LeBron James flaunts a limited edition watch in a recent post

James‘ recent Instagram post actually refers to his tequila brand, Lobos 1707. What caught our eye was James’ shiny accessories – his four NBA Championship rings and an expensive Audemars Piguet watch. James has had a long-standing association with the AP luxury brand that spans all the way back nearly a decade.

Audemars Piguet has previously collaborated with other artists, and James is another star added to their special list. Forbes reported that the brand sought out someone who helps ‘define the style, talent, sophistication, and overall good taste’. James, who was with the Miami Heat back then, was probably one of the best athletes they could collaborate with.

His time in the NBA since his debut has been monitored closely and has also gained fans from all over the world.

The watch featured from his earlier days is gold and has an intricate design. It was sold for around $51,100 but is now available via resellers on various sites. As per reports, 18k rose gold is used along with a titanium bezel. It also features eight screws – traditional of an Audemars Piguet watch – along with gray rubber on the push-piece.

Last Saturday, the Lakers icon flew back to Los Angeles to treat his knee injury. Head coach Frank Vogel spoke about the same, adding that he will be recovering till the swelling goes down. While nothing has been confirmed just yet, James is expected to miss the Lakers’ upcoming game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
